As part of a recent dock rebuild project, Seahorse Retreat and Palm Breeze homeowners recently added solar lights to the dock.
You may know that there are a number of air bases in the Pan Handle, and we are hoping that pilots from nearby Hurlburt Air Field don’t mistake our dock for a runway. Guests may see CV-22 Osprey gunships fly straight over the property.
We can live with the comparison to a runway, since the project was undertaken with a more important consideration in mind, guest safety.
We experience sunshine for much of the year and solar powered lights just seem to make sense and they continue to improve in quality. Well, there is no better place to test quality than a waterside coastal property. We will see if these Portfolio deck lights are up to the task.
